The "Steps of Sacrifice" is a Stair Run event at Ross-Ade Stadium and is a memorial to 9/11. Participants will climb 110 flights of stairs in 102 minutes, symbolizing the time between the first plane's impact and the North Tower's collapse. The event is open to, First Responders, Veterans, Cadets, Active Duty Members, Students, and the West Lafayette/Lafayette community. The proceeds will go towards a ROTC scholarship in memory of the victims, and donations will be accepted. The event aims to honor the sacrifices of the 9/11 tragedy and is an opportunity for the community to come together and show their support.
