ABOUT THE EVENT
The 9/11 Memorial "Steps of Sacrifice" event aims to bring together ROTC Cadets, active duty members, students, faculty, Veteran organizations, and the West Lafayette/Lafayette community to honor the sacrifices made on 9/11. It is a moment to remember, reflect, and create connections within the community.
Participants and donors play a vital role in contributing to a ROTC scholarship in memory of the lives lost on September 11, 2001. Your involvement will make a meaningful difference and help support the educational aspirations of future leaders in the United States Military.
Event History
The 9/11 Memorial Stairs of Sacrifice is an annual event that pays tribute to the brave individuals who lost their lives on September 11th 2001 and the following Wars on Terror. The first event was held 2023 and brought together over 500 individuals, including cadets, first responders, and veterans, to honor the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
