The 9/11 Memorial Steps of Sacrifice will open its gates to the public, for iteration one, at 05:30. Please enter through gate one indicated on the maps below. After you check in there will be signage and personnel to direct you to your staging area, in the new student section stands. At 0600 our guest speaker Mitch Daniels will give a short reflection on the events of 9/11. Following his speech there will be the playing of TAPS and participants will then be led to their assigned running area. After participants have run their 110 flights or what they're able to, please proceed to entrance 2 or check out. At check out we will have snacks and a T-shirt! All participants from iteration one need to exit the stadium no later then 08:00.
